Our project partner, EcoSafi, is a clean cooking fuel utility company in East Africa with a goal of eliminating the use of charcoal as a cooking fuel—replacing charcoal cookstoves with more efficient gasifiers that use clean-burning pellet fuel made from waste biomass.
