Better Cooking Company (doing business as ‘EcoSafi’) hosted a Local Stakeholder Consultation (LSC) for a proposed clean cooking carbon program in Zambia, which is expected to be operationalized through an Article 6.2 project under the Paris Agreement and/or a new large-scale VPA under the company’s Gold Standard POA (GS12970).

EcoSafi is now seeking comments as part of a Stakeholder Feedback Round (SFR) on the comments received during the LSC and how those comments were taken into consideration.

In case a GS VPA is pursued, EcoSafi will initiate a second and updated Stakeholder Feedback Round that includes the draft VPA-DD (per GS requirements) and notice will be provided on our website.
